Hope Foods Super Bowl Eats: Simple, Tasty, and Healthy

In our opinion, Super Bowl viewers can be classified into two categories:

1. Those Who Watch for the Football (and the food)
2. Those Who Watch for the Commercials (and the food)

Regardless of whether you like the sports or the commercials, food is a big part of the Super Bowl. Nothing beats the fun of spending time with the ones you love while enjoying the food you love. The problem with typical game day food is that it isn’t always healthy. It’s often chock-full of fillers, food dyes, and sugar. We are firm believers in not sacrificing flavor for health, however, which is why we created our savory cashew and almond nut dips. Like our hummus, our cashew and almond dips are made with non-GMO ingredients, and are dairy and gluten-free. No matter who wins the Super Bowl, you’ll have a winner when you have our cashew and almond dips.

Why Our Dips Can’t Be Beat

It can be tough to find pre-made dips that aren’t full of junk. We don’t like sacrificing flavor for health, or convenience for nutrition. Here’s how we make products that taste great right out of the tub, and are also healthy:

Non-GMO

All our products are non-GMO project certified. The problem with GMO plants is that they allow for resistance to herbicides. Herbicides = bad for our bodies and the environment, which is why we worked to use only non-GMO ingredients for our dips, hummus, and guacamole.

Flavor

We’re passionate about flavor here at Hope Foods. That’s why we have so many unique and delicious flavors of hummus, cashew and almond dips, and guacamole.

Gluten and Dairy-Free

It’s so hard to find creamy dips if you are dairy-free, and finding gluten-free dips is difficult, because so many products contain hidden gluten. All our hummus, guacamole, and nut dips are gluten and dairy-free.

Super Bowl Eats: Recipes and Game Day Food Ideas

Ok, so enough about the dips specifically. Time to get to the planning portion of this post (Warning: You will be drooling by the end). Here’s our lineup of cashew and almond dips:

Here are the players...ahem, cashew and almond dips:

French Onion Cashew and Almond Dip Lid

You’ll want to cry, this creamy, tangy dip is so delicious. It’s french onion flavor without all the fillers and junk. French onion dip you can feel good about eating.

Roasted Garlic Cashew Almond Dip Lid

Roasted garlic: Is there a richer, fuller, and zestier flavor out there? We don’t think so. This dip tastes oh-so-dreamy on pretty much anything you spread it on.

Spicy Pepper Cashew and Almond Dip - Lid Image

This dip is made with a spicy mix of five peppers (poblano, red bell, green jalapeno, red jalapeno, and a touch of habanero) to spice up any recipe or veggie.

Spinach and Artichoke Cashew and Almond Dip - healthy spinach artichoke dip

When was the last time you had a yummy dairy-free spinach and artichoke dip? Yeah, we didn’t think you could recall. This dip checks all the flavor boxes while also remaining healthy.

Those are the players: Our savory nut dips. Here’s where you can really take it up a notch. Try our recipes featuring these dips and you’ll have a spread you’ll remember for years to come, no matter which team wins or how good the game is. Here are a few of our favorites:

Cashew & Almond Dip Pinwheels 3-Ways

You can make any type of pinwheel you want: Simply choose your favorite cashew and almond dip flavor, and then add in the fillings. For our recipe, we used Spicy Pepper, Spinach and Artichoke, and Chocolate. Yum!

This one’s for those of you who are a bit higher class. A tart sounds so sophisticated. It’s also a crowd-pleaser. Made with our French Onion dip, and topped with red onions, it’s easy to serve to a big group.

If you want more of a meal, this is a great opinion. Our spicy pepper dip is the dressing for this blend of quinoa, beans, veggies, avocado, and cilantro. It’s tasty and super healthy with all the yummy veggies!

What says ‘let’s watch the Super Bowl” more than chili? This recipe makes chili a finger food by putting savory chili in flour tortilla cups. Top it with our Roasted Garlic Cashew and Almond dip for a real punch of flavor.

Pizza is a real hit no matter when you serve it. This pizza is topped with our Roasted Garlich Cashew and Almond Dip, mushrooms, spinach, and feta cheese. Mmmm – our mouths are watering just typing this.

Feeling the need for something sweet? We've got you covered!

Finish Up with a Sweet Bite

A great way to finish the night (and feel a bit better if your team lost) is to try our sweet cashew and almond dips. Chocolate is an obvious favorite (and is oh-so-delicious when served with strawberries), but our Vanilla Bean flavor is equally as yummy. Make a chocolate dessert board, churros, or chocolate chunk ice cream, or keep it simple with fruit and one of our dips.
