Dessert Dips: Have a Healthy, Happy Christmas

Christmas is right around the corner. It’s time for caroling, hot chocolate, ice skating, cookie baking, holiday movies, sledding (if you live where there’s snow), festive music, gift shopping, and spending time with friends and family.

It’s also a time for yummy food: Roasted ham with cherry sauce, turkey with cranberries and stuffing, prime roast and scalloped potatoes, gingerbread cookies, hot chocolate topped with fluffy marshmallows, or any other of your favorite food traditions.

When it comes to dessert, we have an easy and decadent treat to share with your holiday table: Dessert dips that are creamy, smooth, sweet, flavorful, and a healthier choice than most desserts. The bonus? They make serving up a beautiful dessert super simple.

Dessert Dips for Sweet Tooths Everywhere

Spending time with the ones you love is the main focus of the holiday season. Enjoying good food is a part of that:

I think preparing food and feeding people brings nourishment not only to our bodies but to our spirits. Feeding people is a way of loving them, in the same way that feeding ourselves is a way of honoring our own creativeness and fragility. - Shauna Niequist

Keeping sane while hosting is also important, however. This is where we come in: Our dessert dips are the perfect holiday dessert. We have two of them: Creamy, fragrant Vanilla Bean Cashew & Almond Dip and our smooth and decadent Chocolate Cashew & Almond Dip. Both are dairy-free. Both are gluten-free. And both are absolutely, stunningly delicious. Here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy our dessert dips.

Dip ‘Em!

The best thing about our dessert dips is that they are simple. All you have to do for a delectable dessert everyone from the youngest toddler in your group all the way up to your grandmother will enjoy is to pop open a tub of our cashew and almond dip and put it out with a variety of dippables: strawberries, raspberries, graham crackers, baguettes, donuts, cookies, marshmallows, pineapple, apples, muffins, pretzels, bananas, bagels, mangos, wafers, pancakes, waffles, croissants, and more. The only limit is your imagination (and the creativeness of your tastebuds). That’s it. You’ll have a festive dessert with minimal work. And we promise you’ll be the star of your party for it.

Cherry Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream

We’re partial, but we think this is the best ice cream recipe ever, let alone the best dairy-free ice cream recipe ever. This recipe is easy to customize as well. You could add in caramel, or marshmallows, or pretzels, or keep it simple and stick with plain chocolate.

Chocolate Raspberry S’Mores

Who doesn’t love a good s’more? We’re on team “Make S’Mores More than a Summer Dessert.” And, when you use our Chocolate Cashew & Almond Dip, you don’t have to worry about getting the chocolate melted just right. It’s already smooth and easy to spread.

Holiday Desserts and Holiday Cheer

We have so much to be thankful for; friends, family, cozy homes, the ability to be together, food to eat, and so much more. Creating good memories with friends and family around a warm fire with good food is one of the best parts of the holidays.

I want them to bite into a cookie, and think of me, and smile. Food is love. Food has a power. I knew it in my mind, but now I know it in my heart. - Jael McHenry
