Grilled Black Bean Hummus Burgers
Plan for: 20 minutes
Yield: 6 servings
2 cans black beans, rinsed and dried thoroughly
2 tbsp Hope Back Garlic Hummus
½-3/4 C Panko bread crumbs
½ tsp of each spice: paprika, cumin, garlic powder chili powder, salt, pepper
1 tbsp sriracha, ketchup or bbq sauce
Buns and toppings
Top with your favorite burger toppings! Avocado, lettuce, onion, sprouts, and of course, more hummus!
- In a food processor or bowl, mix together all ingredients except black beans. Pulse until combined. Add black beans, combine using the back of a fork, mashing until they are broken up and mixture is fully combined. Form 5-6 tightly packed burger patties (these freeze well too!)
- To cook– grill, covered, over medium high heat, about 6 min per side.
- Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings and more Hope hummus!
