My obsession with homemade, baked donuts is REAL. I love baking them, and I love eating them. But I’ve been waiting alllll year to create a fall flavored donut for you, and the time is finally here! Obviously, pumpkin spice was first on the list.
The texture is lighter and fluffier than your typical cake donut. The pumpkin keeps the donuts tender and moist, while the spices are a perfect match for the season.
BUT WAIT. We haven’t even gotten to the best part yet…the love affair really begins when you coat them in dark chocolate glaze and dust with crunchy granola.
I made these as a mid-day treat for my coworkers last week. (Word spreads fast when I show up to the office with dozens of donuts in hand…) Judging by their reactions, you’d think they just got a raise. I have to agree, I fell hard for these bad boys, too.
